Equipment Prices

As a result of many years experience in giving advice on essential oil production, we have designed a simple ready reckoner to help you get started, this is based on what is always our first question to all prospective clients, that is, "what scale of operation are you thinking of?"

By entering a few simple items of information you can get a general idea of the size of the major components you will need to process your scale of plant material.We recommend that you familiarise yourself with the descriptions of individual items of equipment by reading Commercial equipment details before using the reckoner!

You can then check our price list for the cost of equipment suggested.

This reckoner will give the prices of the Condenser and Separator as they are 'Modular' pieces of equipment which we manufacture in a range of standard sizes. For the retort part of the equipment we can give good guide prices for various fixed and mobile configurations. The prices quoted are for stainless steel in all 'product contact' parts of the equipment.

Please note that for a complete pricing of a retort, there may be other factors to take into consideration like basket inserts/cranes or other special design features. Also it must be remembered that plumbing and pumping, water cooling systems and steam supply need to be provided, details of which we would be happy to discuss.

Working practices and harvesting methods can greatly affect the amount of material that can be processed in a given time. We have used a 10 hr. average working day in some of our calculations, for short harvest 'windows' longer days, even 24 hr, may be advisable and will obviously increase productivity.
